Horsham Rugby Club has a flourishing women's section with over 50 registered players. A far cry from the start of this team in recent times! In that time the team has grown from a handful of players to a fully competitive and fun filled section of the club.While our 1st XV are campaigning in the Women's NC 1 South East (South) leage the Lionesses are consolidating in the Inner Warrior Series with the intention of rejoining NC3 for the 2024/5 season. The squad still contains a number of the "originals" who established the team back in 2018 but are now joined by players who have come through the ranks from the successful U18's team and players completly new to the game. It continues to grow on a weekly basis and is testament to the hard work by those who have gone before to getting the team established. We have great ambitions for our ladies and given the way that the women have embraced the sport, we look forward to seeing just how far the team can progress over the next few years.
